THE CONFERENCE
As UBC Cancer Association’s newest initiative, the Undergraduate Cancer Research Conference (UCRC) was created to bridge the gap between undergraduate students and the broader cancer research community. We are delighted to bring together undergraduate students, healthcare professionals, faculty, and community organizations to share research, exchange ideas, and explore ways to improve cancer research and care.
Â
From bench to bedside and beyond, the UCRC connects scientific discovery with clinical practice and the lived experiences of people affected by cancer. Through research presentations, expert talks, and networking opportunities, we aim to create a space for interdisciplinary exchange, expose students to diverse perspectives and career pathways in oncology, and highlight the people and experiences that give cancer research its purpose.
